Customer Connections
Making sure that generation developments can connect to our network is one of our primary responsibilities as the owner of the electricity transmission network in the north of Scotland. We have a huge job to do over the coming years to make sure that our network is capable of connecting planned additional generation capacity.

Beauly-Blackhillock-New Deer-Peterhead
Report on Consultation
The final Report on Consultation for a proposed new 400kV overhead line running from Beauly via Blackhillock and New Deer and on to Peterhead has been published. The transmission line would include four new substations along its route, and new HVDC converter stations at either end.
