Our Stakeholder Engagement Strategy
Our existing Stakeholder Engagement Strategy and Action Plan were created in 2019 to help us improve and develop a culture of engagement, enabling us to become the stakeholder-led business that we are today.
Since then, our business has grown and changed more rapidly than ever before. This brings the need for even more effective and impactful stakeholder engagement both now and as we look to the future. We therefore feel like now is the time to refresh our stakeholder engagement strategy and develop a new action plan to help us achieve our ambitions.
Our New Stakeholder Engagement Strategy Draft
To support us with meeting the needs of our stakeholders both now and in the future, we worked with an external organisation to draft our strategy which was created using stakeholder feedback and interviews, as well as a global review of stakeholder engagement best practice and emerging trends.
We published our draft in November, and we welcomed stakeholders to review this and take part in the consultation by submitting any feedback through a survey. The consultation period was open for 4 weeks and closed on Wednesday 18th December 2024.
Thank you to all stakeholders who participated. Your responses to this consultation will be used to ensure that our refreshed stakeholder engagement strategy meets the needs of our stakeholder groups and will help us set specific targets for each commitment which will be outlined in our Action Plan. The final strategy is due out early in the new year.
