Your Plan, Our Future – RIIO-T2 video update

Over the past 18 months, the Scottish and Southern Electricity Network’s (SSEN) Transmission business has undertaken a significant amount of research, consideration, planning and engagement to prepare for Ofgem’s next price control period, commonly referred to as RIIO-T2. This framework will be extremely important for SSEN’s future plans and will shape how we operate, engage and invest in our network from 2021 onwards. To prepare, we have started working on a Transmission specific business plan which will identify what we want to achieve for our customers, wider stakeholders and business during this time and meet our regulatory obligations through the RIIO-T2 framework.

Development of the RIIO-T2 business plan will require meaningful input, engagement and feedback from an internal staff audience and all of our external stakeholders, including customers, consumers, industry, our regulator and wider decision makers. The Transmission RIIO-T2 team will be engaging widely to understand the ambitions and views of interested parties ahead of consulting on a draft plan later in 2018.
