Background Information:

At least 22GW of renewable energy will be required in the north of Scotland by 2030 to support a net zero pathway. For context, we currently have just over 9GW of generation connected to our network, of which nearly 8GW is from renewable sources. This webinar will provide an overview of our network projects under construction across the region and the projects we have in development.  It will look at how these will support the just transition, creating green jobs and supply chain opportunities across the north of Scotland while helping deliver onshore and offshore 2030 wind targets. We will outline the extensive stakeholder engagement planned and the opportunities available for consultation and feedback.
